Pathways to Permanent Residence

Headline: The right pathway, chosen early, saves years.

Text: Most immigration problems start with the wrong pathway or a weak first application. We help you choose the route that fits your goals, your finances and your timeline, and we file it so it stands up to review, whether you are coming for a visit, a degree, a job, a business, or for good.

Investor and business immigration: a finance-led approach

Investor and entrepreneur pathways turn on the strength of the money, the plan and the paperwork. Our practice is led by a finance and investment professional with deep experience in bookkeeping, accountancy and building investor-ready decks. We help you:

  • Assess which route fits your capital, experience and goals
  • Build the business plan, financial projections and supporting decks officers and provincial bodies expect
  • Document the source and legitimacy of your funds
  • Structure the investment or business so that it is real and defensible, not one built mainly to obtain status
  • Prepare for requests for more information and interviews

Please note: Canada’s federal business immigration rules have changed significantly. The federal Start-Up Visa has been closed to new applications since the start of 2026, the Self-Employed Persons Program remains suspended, and the government has announced a replacement pilot for entrepreneurs. Provincial streams and work permit routes remain, and their availability and requirements shift often. We confirm what is open before you spend anything.

Who this is for

  • Individuals and families planning a visit, study, work, or a move to Canada, or building a case for permanent residence.
  • Corporations and investors expanding into Canada, transferring staff, or seeking an investor or entrepreneur route.

Situations we handle

  • A choice between Express Entry, a provincial program and another route
  • A refused visa, permit or PR application (see Visa Refusals)
  • Investors and business owners who need a plan that survives scrutiny
  • Corporations moving owners, executives or specialists to Canada
  • A stalled or complex file that needs a second look

FAQ

  1. Which pathway is right for me? It depends on your goals, finances, age, work history and timeline. The consultation settles this first.
  2. Can I get permanent residence by investing in Canada? Canada no longer has a general federal investor visa. Some provincial business streams and work permit routes exist, and the rules change often. We confirm what is open.
  3. Is the Start-Up Visa still open? Not for new applications. A replacement pilot has been announced, and we monitor it.
  4. Do I need a business plan? For business-based routes, yes, and a strong one with financial projections.
  5. Do I need to prove where my money came from? For most investor and business routes, yes. We help you document it.
  6. My application was refused. What now? We review the refusal before you reapply. See Visa Refusals and Strategic Consultations and Case Reviews.
  7. Can a company use your service? Yes. We act for individuals and corporations.
  8. Can you guarantee the result? No one can. We guarantee preparation, honesty and full effort.
