Why Authorized Licensed Professionals Only?

Immigration applications cost time, money, and your future can hinge on every decision made along the way. Under Canadian law, only licensed professionals are authorized to provide immigration advice for a fee: Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), lawyers and paralegals in good standing with a Canadian law society, and Quebec notaries.

Licensed RCICs are eligible to provide immigration advice across all visa categories. RCIC-IRBs — an additional license class — are further authorized to represent clients before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.

We maintain professional affiliations with trusted law firms for clients who require representation before the Federal Court of Canada.

I am licensed as an RCIC-IRB, the highest license class issued by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), Canada’s federal regulator for immigration consultants. This authorizes unrestricted practice under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and the Citizenship Act, including representation before all four divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.
