Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Low CRS Score Mean I Cannot Get PR?
No. Other pathways may fit, including category-based draws, provincial nominations and Canadian experience routes. We assess these first.
My PR application was refused. Can I appeal?
Most economic class refusals have no appeal. The options are to reapply, ask for reconsideration or seek Federal Court judicial refiew for serious legal errors. A refused sponsorship can be appealed to the IAD generally within 30 days.
I received an invitation To Apply. How long do I have?
60 days to submit a complete application. Start gathering documents now, as police certificate and credential reports take time.
Does a Job Offer Add CRS points?
Not currently. Job offer points were removed on March 25, 2025, and IRCC has said it is considering bringing them back. A job offer can still matter for eligibility on some pathways. We check current rules at review.
My work permit expires soon. Can I still apply for PR?
Often yes. But timing matters. Do not assume your status continues if you file for PR. See our Work Permit and Lost Status pages
Must I list family members who are not coming with me?
Yes. Leaving anyone out can be misrepresentation, which carries a 5 year ban.
I think I made a mistake in my application. What now?
Tell us before an officer finds it. Many errors can be addressed if handled early.
Do these rules apply to Quebec?
Quebec selects its own economic immigrants. Tell us at the start if Quebec is part of your plan.
Can an Agent Guarantee Approval?
No representative can guarantee approval. If anyone promises that is a warning sign. Your representative must be registered with CICC and must be licensed on the public register.
Can you guarantee the outcome?
No. We promise a clear strategy, honest advice and careful, on time work.
Our company's employee's PR file was refused. What should we do?
Do not refile immediately. Share the refusal letter and the filed documents and we will identify the reasons, check what the employer side contributed and recommend the next step.
A stalled, returned or refused PR file is not the end. Lets plan the Next Steps.
Send Us your Profile, Invitation or Refusal Letter. with a copy of your passport. We will tell you what is wrong, what your options are and what to do first.
