Express Entry Is Not A Visa

It is an online platform to submit Permanent Residency Applications under three categories – Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trade Program, and Canada Experience Class. The option for Provincial Nominee Program is a subset of these programs. Separate application is filed for PNP in addition to Express Entry, if needed.

Information To Help You To Make Informed Decisions

How are You Ranked And Invited

There are three kind of rounds: General, Program, Specific, Category Based.

  • Provincial Nominations ((EE linked) add 600 CRS points.
  • CRS score comes from Age, Education, Language, Canadian and Foreign Work Experience, Spouse Factors. Additional Factors such as French Ability, Canada Study and Provincial Nomination.  A  High Score Does Not Rescue an Ineligible Profile and A Low Score Does Not End Your Options.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to choose a program before creating a profile?

No. The system checks which programs you meet. We will screen first, because the details you enter affect eligibility and ranking.

No. Category rounds, provincial nominations and other pathways may fit. We assess these first.

Until November 2, 2026 no. From November 3, 2026, a qualifying offer in a high wage occupation earns points, with no LMIA required. Offers outside the high wage list earn nothing.

60 days to submit a complete application. Start police certificates and credentials reports early.

12 months. If you are not invited, you can create a new profile if you are still eligible.

FSW and FSTP candidates must show settlement funds unless they hold a valid job offer and are authorized to work in Canada. CEC candidates are exempt. IRCC updates the amounts annually, so we confirm the current figure for your family size at review.

Often yes, but student time does not count as qualifying CEC experience. We check your dates before filing.

No. Anyone who promises one is a warning sign. Your representative must be licensed with the CICC and listed on the public register.
