Tradesperson | FSTP | Eligible trade, 2 years of experience, job offer or certificate of qualification | Check trade code and offer or certificate, then build the profile |

What Goes Wrong With The Applicsation? How it Hurts Your Profile? How We Help?
What goes wrong | Why it hurts | How we prevent it |
|---|---|---|
Occupation code or duties do not match employment letters | Officers see the mismatch; refusal or a misrepresentation finding | We match code, duties, hours and pay to your letters before the profile is created |
Experience counted that does not qualify (student, self-employed, unauthorized work) | You may be ineligible even after an invitation | We count only qualifying hours and dates |
Language results below the level claimed | Refusal | We verify results against the level entered |
Credential assessment does not match the profile | Lost points or refusal | We check the assessment against the profile |
Job offer incomplete or not valid for the program | Lost points or ineligibility | We verify the offer details and update the profile |
Expired profile, or documents not ready within the 60-day window | The invitation is lost | We gather documents before you are invited |
Family members left out, including those not accompanying you | Misrepresentation and a 5-year ban | We list every family member |
Differences from earlier profiles or applications | Officers see all earlier profiles | We reconcile your history before filing |

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to choose a program before creating a profile?
No. The system checks which programs you meet. We will screen first, because the details you enter affect eligibility and ranking.
Do I have a low CRS score mean I cannot get PR?
No. Category rounds, provincial nominations and other pathways may fit. We assess these first.
Does A Job Offer Add CRS Poibnts?
Until November 2, 2026 no. From November 3, 2026, a qualifying offer in a high wage occupation earns points, with no LMIA required. Offers outside the high wage list earn nothing.
How long do I have after an Invitation?
60 days to submit a complete application. Start police certificates and credentials reports early.
How long is my profile valid?
12 months. If you are not invited, you can create a new profile if you are still eligible.
How much proof of funds do I need?
FSW and FSTP candidates must show settlement funds unless they hold a valid job offer and are authorized to work in Canada. CEC candidates are exempt. IRCC updates the amounts annually, so we confirm the current figure for your family size at review.
Can a student or PGWP holder apply?
Often yes, but student time does not count as qualifying CEC experience. We check your dates before filing.
Can a representative guarantee an Invitation or Approval?
No. Anyone who promises one is a warning sign. Your representative must be licensed with the CICC and listed on the public register.
